You can also use the planning table with
Capacity Planning
.
Here, the system first carries out lead time scheduling using the routing defined in the production version.
Depending on your settings, the system creates either detailed or rate-based capacity requirements and displays these in the planning table.
Customizing
You must check the scheduling parameters in Customizing for MRP or for Repetitive Manufacturing under
Define Scheduling Parameters for Planned Orders
.
You must define detailed scheduling or rate-based scheduling for planned orders with the order type LA.
You must define rate-based scheduling, detailed scheduling or sequencing for run schedule quantities (planned orders with the order type PE).
You must define detailed scheduling for production orders, otherwise the system does not display the capacity data correctly.
Master data
You must create a work center for the production line.
You must enter the work center of the production line in the production version.
If necessary, you must create a line hierarchy for the production line.
You must create either a rate routing or a standard routing for the material.
You must enter the routing in the production version either under detailed planning or under rate-based planning.
Initial screen of the planning table
In the initial screen, you must select
Detailed or rate-based planning
depending on the setting you made for the order type in Customizing.
In the initial screen of the planning table, you must select the
Capacity planning
field.
The system displays the
capacity data
for the selected lines in the upper section of the planning table. For each
capacity category
