You can use this function to carry out the delivery-related trading unit change (DTUC) in a storage location that uses the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
You can carry out DTUC in a special storage location prior to shipment. The batches are transported there from the warehouse. After completion of the DTUC, they are then transported either to the picking area or back to the warehouse. These movements are integrated when you use WMS.
You must make the settings described under “Prerequisites” in Delivery-Related Trading Unit Change .
In Customizing for

In Customizing for
Delivery-Related Trading Unit Change (DTUC),
you must set the
WM Control
indicator and the relevant movement types under
Set Movement Types for DTUC
in the
DTUC: WM Processing
screen area
.
You have created a DTUC-relevant delivery item in the system, which has the status of the goods movement activity
A (not processed).
In Customizing for
WM Control
indicator as required for each delivery item by creating and activating your own implementation for the /SAPMP/LE_WM BAdI.
When you save the outbound delivery, the system creates a transfer order or transfer requirement from the warehouse to the DTUC bin for the batch split items with the WM Activity status
A
(
not processed)
and DTUC status
A (DTUC-relevant)
.
Note
If you manually process a batch split item and set the DTUC status to
C (DTUC processing completed),
or if you delete the batch split item, you must manually change the existing stock movements.
Note
If you do not see a transport requirement or transport order, you can find them as batch input folder. Incorrect settings can cause this to happen.
The system creates transfer postings for each DTUC-relevant batch split item. Using WM transports, the batches to be processed are transferred from the DTUC bin to the warehouse or to a special picking area.
After successful confirmation, the system updates the outbound delivery and adjusts the batch split items in accordance with the confirmed batch or quantity. If a remaining quantity exists from an issuing batch, the system creates a transfer order or requirement from the DTUC bin back to the warehouse. You can select the relevant transfer orders and transfer requirements using the batches.
Note
In the case of a single-unit batch , the system always transfers the complete batch stock, regardless of the batch split quantity. If the single-unit batch is already in the DTUC bin, there is no other movement in WMS.
