 Process Template

Definition

Templates that consist of a specified sequence of processes with assigned activity types. A process template is linked with a succession plan. It supports the succession planner when performing a standard succession planning process.

Use

When you create a succession plan, you assign the process template to the succession plan. You can assign a process template to several succession plans if the same succession planning process is required in each case.

With the tasks that are stored in the process template, you can design a standardized succession planning process fur use within an organization or with similar succession plans. To do this, you must provide the succession planners with the relevant activity types from all activity types available. The succession planner can then use activities from the process template assigned to the succession plan, depending on the requirements.

Note Note

You cannot use process templates within Talent Relationship Management (TRM).

End of the note.

Structure

A process template consists of basic data, processes, and the assigned activity types:

  • Basic Data

The basic data includes the description, status, person responsible, and creation date.

  • Activities

A process template consists of processes in a specified sequence. A set of activity types is assigned to each process. Questionnaire templates and letter templates can be assigned to the activity types.

The sequence of the processes and activity types within the processes is determined when you create process templates .
