  Process

Definition

Group of activities that belong together from a business point of view. A distinction is made between processes that represent parts of the succession planning process and processes that are used in Talent Relationship Management (TRM). Processes consist of activities and are components of process templates .

Use

You use processes to structure overall business processes, such as Succession Planning. To do so, you create your processes using the Implementation Guide (IMG). You name each process and assign it to a process group. You then assign activity types to the processes.

For more information about creating processes, see the Implementation Guide for SAP E-Recruiting under Succession Planning → Candidate Shortlist for Succession Planning → Activities → Define Processes .

Example

The following examples are processes that are available in the standard system for Succession Planning in SAP E-Recruiting :

  • Personnel Marketing

  • Alumni Management

  • Candidate Ranking

  • Provisional Succession Plan

  • Selection

  • Rejection
