Printer Installation (iSeries) 

Purpose

Spool requests are passed to an output queue, which passes the data on to the connected printer.
This method utilizes the spool request administration functions provided by the iSeries.

Process Flow

Depending on how you want to install the printer, you must perform the following steps:

·        Connect a printer using TCP/IP

·        Connect a printer that is directly attached

·        Perform steps to apply the Advanced Function Printing concept

·        Perform steps to be able to print using the SAPldp daemon
