Hyperlink that appears on an area page only if certain prerequisites are fulfilled.
Dynamic links are used to start a service. In contrast to the service link texts, which the system always displays, dynamic links are only displayed in certain cases.
The following types of dynamic links exist:
· Invisible dynamic links are not displayed as standard. They are only displayed when a certain event occurs, for example.
An employee has five days of remaining leave that will expire in two months. Next to the Leave Request service link text, a second hyperlink appears that could read as follows: "Remaining leave expires in two months". This hyperlink is defined as a dynamic link and is only displayed when the remaining leave is due to expire. The link starts the Leave Request service.
· Deactivated dynamic links are displayed as a text but not as an executable link. You can only use this kind dynamic link if a particular service is temporarily not available. Here, you can have a text displayed that explains why the service is not available.
