PDC Link in SAP Retail Store 

Use

The PDC interfaces in SAP Retail Store enable you to carry out different business transactions in stores using PDC units.

SAP Retail Store supports the use of PDC units in the following areas:

·        Store Order

You can transfer your stores' requirements that were entered using a PDC unit directly to the system.

·        Physical Inventory

You can transfer the count results for a physical inventory that were entered using a PDC unit directly to the system.

·        Goods Receipt/Goods Issue

You can transfer goods receipts/movements in your store that were entered using a PDC unit directly to the system.

Integration

There are two procedures available in SAP Retail Store for linking PDC units.

·        a browser-based procedure (see PDC Interface Using Browser)

·        an RFC/IDoc-based procedure (see PDC Interface Using RFC/IDoc)
