Object documentation Price Plan Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Definition

Document used to save price planning in the Price Planning Workbench (PPW).

Use

A price plan contains costing data for price planning, special information for markdown controlling, promotion and manual price change processes, and data for the associated budget function. Price plans for different price planning processes vary according to the price plan category used.

Price plans are the starting point for subsequent processing linked to planning. The status of the price plan reflects the progress of processing, in terms of both planning and subsequent processing.

Structure

Every price plan contains the following parts:

·        Header data that applies to the whole price plan, for example, the price plan category, the price planning type for controlling price planning and the validity period

·        Organization sets that define the organizational levels to which the price plan applies

·        Price planning data, such as costing data for the articles in the different organizational levels

·        Budget data that incorporates cross-price plan data and price-plan-specific data.

Note

As well as these subareas, promotion price plans contain other information. This includes data from the integrated promotion and – if you use site groups – the relevant control data.
