Calculation of the Planned Delivery Time for
SAP F&R 
Use
You calculate the planned delivery time to ensure that the planned delivery time in the purchasing info record and in the master data for the article site combination agrees with the scheduling result of seasonal procurement. SAP F&R uses the planned delivery time in the forecast and then the purchase order in SAP ECC. You use this function in the role of replenishment planner.
Features
To calculate the planned delivery time it does not matter whether procurement is external or internal.
If the system cannot determine a transportation chain, the total transportation time is zero days.
This results in the production time and the planned delivery time matching if there is a purchasing info record, or the goods issue time and the planned delivery time matching if there is no purchasing info record.
In this case, you can choose to use the older planned delivery time (planned delivery time before calculation).
Planned delivery time with existing purchasing info record
If a purchasing info record does exist, it is the purchase order for an external vendor or a distribution center.
The planned delivery time for an existing purchase info record is determined by adding together all the individual times listed here for all the legs in the transportation chain that have the date category Operational.

- Post-transportation time:
The calculated planned delivery time is saved in the purchasing info record. If it involves the standard vendor, you can also save the planned delivery time in the article master.
Planned delivery time without existing purchasing info record
If there is no purchasing info record, it is the purchase order from the store to the distribution center.
The planned delivery time without an existing purchase info record is determined by adding together all the following individual times for all legs in the transportation chain that have the date category Operational.
- Goods issue processing time
- Transportation lead time:
- Main transportation time:
- Post-transportation time:
The calculated planned delivery time is saved in the product master data for stores that are supplied by this distribution center.
Activities
To calculate the planned delivery time you use program FRE_CALCULATE_PLIFZ or the Calculate Plan Delivery Time function. Flag the Delta Calculation checkbox.
To automatically assign references, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose
Logistics à Retailing à Distributed Retailing à F&R Integration à Planned Delivery Time à Calculation of Planned Delivery Time.
To automatically assign references, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose
Logistics à Retailing à Distributed Retailing à F&R Integration à Planned Delivery Time à Transfer Changed Data to SAP F&R.
