Planned Delivery Time 

Use

The planned delivery time is required in SAP F&R for the supply networks.

Scheduling for seasonal procurement provides you with details about calculating the planned delivery time. Every change made to this document affects the new calculation of the planned delivery time. You use this function in the role of replenishment planner or purchaser.

Integration

To use the program for calculating the planned delivery time, scheduling of seasonal procurement must be active.

Prerequisites

You have selected the scheduling procedure Maximum Schedule Line or Maximum Before Minimum Dateline.

Features

If the following information changes in the transportation chain, the planned delivery time is recalculated. Look for all the vendors and purchasing info records for the transportation chain to retain all the articles affected.

·        Change the transportation chain by scheduling seasonal procurement

When you change the shipment lead time, follow-up time or time of a route, or if you add or delete a new route to/from the transportation chain

·        Change the transportation chain for a vendor

When the provision time or the scheduling procedure for the vendor changes and no other transportation chain is entered in the purchasing info record.

·        Change in the supplying plant relationship

When the priority or the transportation chain in the supplying chain changes or an entry is created or deleted.

·        Change of production time for an article

As there can be several purchasing info records for an article (it is possible for an assignment to be made to the same vendor at purchasing organization and site level), the planned delivery time is recalculated for all purchasing info records for this article.

If you change the goods issue processing time on the Logistics tab page for the distribution center, you must adjust the planned delivery time of the article.

·        Change in the purchasing info record

When you change the provision time in the purchasing info record.

Activities

To calculate the planned delivery time you use program FRE_CALCULATE_PLIFZ or the Calculate Plan Delivery Time function.

 

To automatically assign references, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose

Logistics à Retailing à Distributed Retailing à F&R Integration à Planned Delivery Time à Calculation of Planned Delivery Time.
