Adding a Search Field to the Document ListLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

  • You are assigned the portal System Admin role.

  • You are assigned the Workspace Content Administration role.

  • KM and TREX are installed and configured.

Context

You can add a search field that uses KM search, to the toolbar of document list modules. You add the search field by configuring a property in the Document List module template.

Procedure

  1. In the portal, navigate to Start of the navigation path Workspace Administration Next navigation step Module Templates End of the navigation path.
  2. Select the Document List module template, and choose Edit.
  3. In the Additional Properties tab, locate the Enable Search in Document List property and set it to Yes.
  4. Choose Done.
