The Module Gallery displays module templates according to a set of predefined categories, such as All Modules, Administration, Applications, Reports, and Tools. When you create a module template, you assign it one or more Module Gallery categories. For more information, see Configuring General Properties for a Module Template.
Module Gallery categories are defined as folders in the Portal Catalog. You can configure the categories by adding or deleting folders. You can also create nested categories by creating a hierarchical folder structure.
Nested categories are automatically displayed both in the module templates administration screen ( General Properties screen of a module template. In the module templates administration screen, nested categories are displayed in the Category dropdown list and in the Module Gallery Categories column by using the "|" character to separate between category levels. For example: Administration | HR. In the General Properties screen of a module template, nested categories are displayed in a tree structure.
), and in theHowever, the default Module Gallery displays only one level of categories. To display nested categories, you need to implement a custom Module Gallery that displays the hierarchical category structure.
The following procedures describe how to configure Module Gallery categories, and how to display nested categories in the Module Gallery.
You are assigned the portal Content Admin role.
In the portal, navigate to

Configure the Module Gallery categories by adding or deleting folders, as necessary.
