Attaching a Custom Icon to a Module Template

Prerequisites

You are in the General Properties tab of a module template. For more information, see Configuring General Properties for a Module Template.
To use a URL to provide the icon, you have completed the steps described in Enabling the Use of Images from URLs.

Context

You can select an icon from the image gallery, or upload an icon from the file system or from a URL. Every icon you upload is added to the image gallery. For information on deleting icons, see Managing Module Templates.

Procedure

Choose Attach Custom Icon.
The Attach Icon dialog box is displayed.
Select an icon, using one of the following options:
- Image Gallery - Select an icon
- File System - Choose Upload to browse for the file that contains the icon and upload it.
  
  Supported file formats are JPG, GIF, or PNG.
  
  The file size, width, and height must be within the defined limits, as defined by the following properties:
  - Maximum Size
    
    Default: 1048576 bytes
  - Maximum Width
    
    Default: 4000 pixels
  - Maximum Height
    
    Default: 3000 pixels
  - Maximum Width for Stored Icons
    
    Default: 120 pixels
  - Maximum Height for Stored Icons
    
    Default: 120 pixels
  These properties are configured in Workspace Administration Configuration , in the Modules tab, under Module Template Icons.
- URL - Provide the URL that contains the icon, and choose Upload.
Choose Attach.
