Adding Modules to a Workspace
The module gallery shows you all of the modules that you can add to the pages in your workspace. Once modules have been added to the page, you can drag the modules to rearrange them within the layout.
The following modules are supplied by default. Your workspace administrator can add additional modules or choose not to display these modules in the module gallery.
Document List: use this module to share documents and other files with the members of your workspace.
The document list is only available in shared workspaces.
URL Module: use this module to display Web content in your workspace.
Link List: use this module to display links to applications, reports, and Web sites.
Text Pad: use this module to add text and links to your workspace.
Member List: use this module to display a list of the members of a workspace and to enable workspace members to contact each other.
You are the manager or owner of the workspace, or you are adding modules to your personal workspace.
At the top of the workspace screen, choose Add Content.
The module gallery opens.
The available modules are divided into categories. Choose a module category to display the modules in that category, or select All Modules to display all of the modules.
You can search for modules by name by entering text in the search field. The search results are displayed in the module gallery as you type.
To view the description of a module, hover the cursor over the module in the module gallery and choose Description.
To add a module to the workspace you can:
Hover the cursor over the module and choose Add.
The module is added to the layout container at the top left side of the content area. You can then drag the module to the desired location on the page.
Drag the module directly from the module gallery to the desired location on the page.
When you have finished adding modules to the pages in your workspace, choose Done to close the module gallery.
To delete a module from the workspace, in the module header from the Options menu
(Options), choose Delete.
Some modules require initial configuration or may have properties that you can modify. For more information, see Configuring Module Settings.
