You use logs and traces to locate and examine a problem behavior of the Web services.

Prerequisites

You increased the severity level of the Web service. More information: Setting Severity to Web Services and Web Service Clients

Procedure

  1. Open the SAP NetWeaver Administrator in a web browser, by entering the following address.

    http://localhost:<port>/nwa

    You can construct <port> by the formula 5 + NN + 00, where NN is the number of the Java instance.

    Enter your user name and password if required.

  2. Choose   SOA Management   Application and Scenario Communication   Single Service Administration  .

Viewing Converter Web Service Calls
  1. Choose the Service Definitions tab.

  2. In the Findfield, enter *ConverterLocal.

  3. In the Search byfield, enter WSDL Porttype Name and choose Go.

  4. In the results list, choose ConverterLocal and then choose the Logs & Trac estab.

Viewing Converter Web Service Client Calls
  1. Choose the Consumer Proxies tab.

  2. In the Value field, enter *ConverterLocal and choose Go.

  3. In the Search by field, enter WSDL Porttype Name and choose Go.

  4. In the results list, choose ConverterLocal and then choose the Logs & Traces tab.

Result

The system displays all calls to the Web service invoked by the Web service client.
