There are no special administration tasks for application-to-application (A2A) scenarios other than those already listed for usage type PI under Tasks.

This does not apply if you still use the Plain J2SE Adapter Engine for your integration scenario.

Note

The Plain J2SE Adapter Engine is only supported for compatibility reasons. It hosts only a subset of the adapter functionality and you should only use it if it is a precondition in your environment.

The following administration tasks apply to the Plain J2SE Adapter Engine:

·        User Management

·        Starting and Stopping

·        Logging and Tracing

·        Backup/Restore and Recovery
