Providing Network Folders for Help Center Files
A shared network folder is one of the possible repositories for files that the Help Center can link to. Process experts can use such folders to save files containing information required in the Help Center. The Help Center provides the following editing options for these files:
Create links to the files
Change links (link target, link text)
Delete links
You must prepare the network folder designated as the repository for these files and enter the corresponding path in the basic Help Center configuration.
The users' PCs are equipped as follows:
Microsoft Windows operating system

Create a shared network folder on a server in your company.
Optional: Create subfolders to structure the data.
If you want to provide the contents of the Help Center files in more than one language, create a subfolder for the network folder for each relevant logon language.
The name of the subfolder must match the two-character language ID that users enter when they log on to the SAP system. The orthography of the logon language ID follows the specification in ISO 639-1; for example, "de" for German. Language IDs are not case-sensitive.
Caution
Make sure that the folder structures and folder names are exactly the same in the language-specific subfolders, and that all language versions of a file have the same file name (not translated). If a user chooses a link for which there is no file in the appropriate language version, the system issues a message.
If you want to manage the content by organizational unit, create the corresponding subfolders for the network folder. If you want the content to be available in different languages, create the same folder structure for organizational units in each language-specific subfolder.
Use the security settings of the network folder and subfolders to control access to the files.
