Security Archiving
You use this function to make settings for archiving messages with S/MIME security settings.
You can display the security agreements for such messages in the details for the message in message monitoring in the Adapter Engine. Here you can also find the name of the directory in which the message is archived.
· You have started the Runtime Workbench, you are in Component Monitoring, and have selected the Adapter Engine as the component.
· You must configure this type of archiving before you can use it. To do this, use the system ID of your SAP system to create and use the following home path for the archive:
/<SYSID>/xi_sec/
For more
information, see
Synchronize Home
Path in
Administration of the
XML Data Archiving Service.
To archive messages with security settings, choose Security Archiving on the Status tab page.
· You can set the start time and time interval for the archiving session and, if there is a large amount of data, the number of parallel archiving sessions, in a separate window.
The default value for the start time is a date and time in the future. Enter the required value and choose Update Archiving Settings. This determines the time for the next archiving session and displays it in the Next Archiving Session field.
· Archiving sessions with errors are listed and can be sorted by particular criteria.
You can
select and retry archiving sessions. The number of lines displayed informs you
whether an archiving session has been successful. If the number of lines stays
the same after you have repeated the function call, then errors occurred in
the archiving session. If the number of lines is smaller, the archiving
session was successful. For more information about archiving and archiving
sessions, see
XML-Based
Archiving.
