Function documentation Cache Notifications  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

To ensure that the relevant Integration Engines have quick access to the contents of the Integration Repository/Integration Directory at runtime, the information required is loaded into corresponding caches. Caches also contain the runtime-relevant data from the System Landscape Directory.

The cache is updated by different events:

·        Importing software component versions into the Integration Repository

·        Import of objects to the Integration Repository

·        Release transfer

·        Activate change lists (Integration Repository) that contain runtime-relevant objects

Note

This includes mapping objects, adapter metadata, and integration processes.

·        Activation of change lists in the Integration Directory

Note

Notifications about these events are only displayed in the Integration Directory.

You can display these events in the Cache Notifications.

Features

To display cache notifications, choose Environment  ®  Cache Notifications in the menu bar of the Integration Builder.

Which features are available depends on whether you call the cache notifications in the Integration Repository or Integration Directory.
