Procedure documentation Transporting Objects  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Prerequisites

You have configured CTS and the systems involved in the transport (more information: Configuring CTS and Systems for CTS Transports, Configuring Source and Target Systems).

Furthermore, the transport organizer Web service must also be activated (more information: Activating the Web Service for Transport Organizer Web UI).

Procedure

       1.      Collect all the objects to be transported in a CTS transport request. Note the following two cases:

       You only want to include objects of one type in a CTS transport request, for example, only design objects (Integration Repository) or only configuration objects (Integration Directory).

       You want to include objects of different types in a CTS transport request, such as design objects from the Integration Repository and related configuration objects from the Integration Directory.

       2.      Import the objects into the target system with the Transport Management System (TMS).

Result

The details of every export and import are logged. Choose Tools ® Search for Transports to display the details in the Integration Builder. To display the attributes for a CTS transport, double-click the search result; the transport request ID is saved as a link. Use this link to navigate directly to the transport request that was used for the export or import in CTS.
