Function documentationDefining the Support Package Queue Locate this document in the navigation structure

The queue specifies which Support Packages Support Package Manager imports into your system, and in which order.

If the queue is not completely defined, you need to define the queue from the available Support Packages.

If the queue is already completely defined, it is only displayed; and you cannot change the selection. However, you can delete the queue in its entirety by choosing Delete Queue.

Caution Caution

You can only delete the queue if module Import 1 has not yet started (up to phase SCHEDULE_RDDIMPDP).

End of the caution.

Support Package Manager makes sure that only Support Packages that are appropriate for your system appear in the queue. Support Packages that are meant for another release or add-on do not appear in the queue, even if you have loaded them into your SAP system. For more information, see Rules for the Queue.

Note Note

You have to define the queue before importing Support Packages.

End of the note.

Prerequisites

You have used the Support Package Manager to load the relevant Support Packages into your SAP System.

You must have distributed maintenance certificates in your system if you want to import SAP Support Packages. For more information, see the SAP Support Portal under http://service.sap.com/maintenancecertificate and SAP Note 1240265.
