Importing Support Packages into other Systems

You have imported the Support Packages successfully into a system (test or development system).
If necessary: You have adjusted any modifications.

Load the Support Packages into the next system (quality assurance or production system). You must differentiate between the following situations:
- Your systems have a common transport directory:
  Call Support Package Manager in the target system and choose Support Package Load Packages From Application Server .
- Your systems do not have a common transport directory:
  Using ftp in binary mode, copy all files with the extension *.PAT from the directory /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in (UNIX and IBM eServer iSeries) or <DRIVE>:\usr\sap\trans\EPS\in (Windows) of the source system to the transport directory of the target system.
  
  Call Support Package Manager in the target system and choose Support Package Load Packages From Application Server .
Define the Support Package queue.
Include the modification adjustment transports that were created in the first system in the queue.
Import the Support Packages queue as usual.
