Booking a Single Flight (Proxy-to-IDoc) 

Purpose

The most important characteristics of this variant of the integration scenario SingleFlightBooking are: asynchronous message exchange, uses mappings, uses proxy runtime and the IDoc adapter.

Using IDoc adapters enables communication based on the adapter runtime. Note that this is a significant difference compared with the integration scenario variant described under Booking a Single Flight (Proxy-to-Proxy). There, communication is based on the proxy runtime.
