Release Object OR_TOC (Account
Closure)
A release object in the Account Management (FS AM) system using which the system recognizes whether the editing of an account closure by entry or processing staff is subject to release. If the editing of the account closure is subject to release, the system generates a release object OR_TOC (account closure) as a work item that can be processed further in the Business Workplace by a supervisor or user responsible for release.
For more
information on the release process, in other words, how the Account Management (FS-AM) system interacts with the Business Workplace, see the
Framework for the
Principle of Dual Control (CA-GTF-TS-PDC) documentation.
You make the settings for release object OR_TOC (account closure) and its release attributes in the Account Management (FS-AM) Customizing settings in the following IMG activities:
· Assign Release Object to Release Procedure
· Assign Rule to Release Steps
· Assign Release WF and Release Procedure WF to Release Procedures
· Dialog
¡
Individual
processing
Transaction Close
Account
The system checks whether the dialog processing of the account closure is subject to release and generates a work item for every release-relevant account closure. If an account closure is no longer relevant for release once it has been edited, the related work item is deleted.
¡
Mass processing
Transaction Edit Due Account
Closures
The system executes due account closures; this operation is not relevant for release. For this reason, mass processing does not generate any work items. A due account closure (activated account closure) is also executed, even if a change to this account closure is in the release process. The system rejects the change that is in the release process and deletes the corresponding work item when executing it.
· Business Application Programming Interface (BAPI)
The system checks, as for dialog processing, whether an account closure edited via BAPIs is subject to release, and generates a work item for every release-relevant account closure. If an account closure is no longer relevant for release once it has been edited, the related work item is deleted.

For the account closure BAPIs, you do not have the option of suppressing the release procedure, because the Deactivate Release Workflow parameter is not available.
The account closure BAPIs transfer information on whether the created or changed account closures are in the release process in the OrderRelease parameter.
Direct input is not implemented for account closure. The external data transfer (EDT) is realized by the account closure BAPIs with the entry origin and processing origin BDTTOC (account closure – BAPI (EDT)).
For the business-related meaning of the individual release attributes, see the corresponding F1 helps.
