Activating Product Changes (Account)  

Use

This function is a method of business object Product Change (Account). The system carries out all the important business-related steps that are required in order to activate a product change (account) successfully, according to auditing requirements.

Prerequisites

The prerequisites described in the Product Change (Account) section must be met and the settings listed must have been made.

From the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Account Management ® Account ® Account Master Data ® Change Account Product and either mode Createor Change.

Activities

      1.      Check the details on the Account Product Change tab page.

      2.      Choose Activate.

      3.      The system carries out the following steps:

¡      Changes the product change (account) and the data on the Administration and Technical Details tab pages in accordance with the processing status.

¡      Determines the current order version of the product change (account) on the basis of the internal order number

¡      Checks whether the system can adjust the order version of the product change (account) in the database

¡      Checks whether the processing origin of the product change (account) is permitted.

¡      Opens the account to which the product change (account) relates

¡      Opens the product change (account)

¡      Makes an authorization check.

¡      Checks whether the following events have already been processed:

§       0BCA2111 (Product change (account) (PREPARE))

§       0BCA2103 (Product change (account) (SAVE))

¡      Checks whether a lock is set for the product change (account)

¡      Sets the order status of the product change (account) depending on the Order in Release indicator:

§       - Indicator is not set

- The system sets the order status to 0120 (activated).

§       Indicator is set

If the release status of the product change (account) is In Release, the system does not change the order status of the product change (account).

If the release status of the product change (account) is Not In Release, the system sets the order status to 0120 (activated).

¡      Check whether the order status of the product change (account) permits you to Save

¡      Saves the data of the product change (account) on the database.

¡      Creates the correspondence container, provided the Correspondence for Product Change indicator is set

¡      Processes the following Publish&Subscribe Business Transaction Events:

§       0BCA2109 (Product change (account) (SET))

§       0BCA2105 (Product change (account) (ACTIVATE))

§       0BCA2102 (Product change (account) (CHECK CHANGED))

§       0BCA2100 (Product change (account) (CHECK))

§       0BCA2111 (Product change (account) (PREPARE))

§       0BCA2103 (Product change (account) (SAVE))

§       0BCA2101 (Product change (account) (OPEN))
