RadioButtonGroupByIndex 

 

The RadioButtonGroupByIndex UI element represents a number of radio buttons groups in columns and rows. Unlike the CheckBoxGroup UI element, this UI element allows the selection of one element only.

Example of the Display

The dropdown list box UI elements, RadioButtonGroup and RadioButtonGroupByKey, do not differ from each other when displayed on the screen. However, the data binding model for the RadioButtonGroupByKey UI element has a completely different concept (see section Data Binding).

When using a RadioButtonGroup, always display this UI element alongside a label to ensure Accessibility.

During the design time the properties accessibilityDescription and text are checked to ensure accessibility.

The properties tooltip and label are not checked.

Data Binding

The property text must be bound to a context attribute that lies within a context node with the cardinality 0..n or 1. For each element of this node a RadioButton with the respective value of the text attribute is displayed as a text.
