Editing Contract Relationships for Participant
Accounts
On the Contract Relationships tab page, you can assign multiple accounts to a card, depending on the settings for the related card product.
The system runs checks when participants are added. You can configure these checks individually in the product definition for the relevant card product and the participating account products.
· You use the contract element Card-Account Relationship (BCLA). You have set the grouping attribute Contract Relationships to green in Customizing for Account Management (FS-AM) by choosing Product Management ® Product Definition ® Card Products.
To assign values to the attributes of the card product, you must process the following IMG activities in Customizing for Account Management (FS-AM):
· Contract Management ® Card ® Card-Account Relationship ® Define Contract Types
· Contract Management ® Card ® Card-Account Relationship ® Assign Contract Types to Keys
· Contract Management ® Card ® Card-Account Relationship ® Define Account Identification for Messages
· Product Management ® Product Definition ® Account Products ® Assign Account Products to Contract Types
You define the following conditions in the product definition for the relevant card product by choosing Contract Relationships ® Participation Conditions:
· The participant contract is based on a contract category that is allowed as a participant of the card product.
If the Restrict Contract Category field does not contain defaults in the product definition, contracts of all contract categories are allowed as participants. Otherwise, you can add only the participant contracts that are based on the defined contract categories.
· The participant contract is based on a contract type that is allowed as a participant of the card product.
If the Restrict Contract Type field does not contain defaults in the product definition, contracts of all contract types are allowed as participants. Otherwise, you can add only the participant contracts that are based on the defined contract types.
· The account that is part of a card-account relationship based on a certain contract category and/or type is allowed to be used as the main set of payment details for the card.
· The number of accounts to be added per contract type has not been exceeded.
· The number of participants is not less than the minimum number.
· The maximum number of participants has not been exceeded.
If the minimum and maximum number is blank in the product definition (= 0), you can add as many participants as required.
· The participant accounts and the card are managed in the same currency.
· Participant accounts and the card have the same holder.
· Cross-checks by the customer are allowed.
For more information about the checks on the participant conditions for accounts, see the documentation for the following function modules:
