The CRM solution for commercial and industrial customers contains an open interface for connecting calculation tools that are used to perform the price calculation for a quotation.

Once you have entered all of the data that is relevant to the quotation, you can send a message containing this information to the calculation tool. The CRM then locks the document to prevent further processing. In structured documents, only the revelant items are locked. Processing cannot take place until the CRM system receives a response that can be processed successfully from the caclulation tool. This message can contain a new price version with any prices (condition types, scales and periods).

The technological basis for these interfaces are the CRM-Middleware and the XIF Framework.
