With the tools provided, you can monitor the entire data exchange via the CRM Middleware centrally or for certain aspects only. Single processes and transactions within CRM Middleware can be monitored and analyzed and logs and statistics can be generated. Furthermore, tools for a cross-component data integrity check of master data and Customizing data are available.

The architecture of CRM Middleware provides SAP monitoring functionality (for example, provided by the Computing Center Management System) and specific functions, for example for the message flow within the CRM Middleware.

Procedure

The monitoring tools are available in the SAP Easy Access menu under Start of the navigation path Architecture and Technology Next navigation step Middleware Next navigation step Monitoring End of the navigation path. The following areas are displayed:

  • Central monitoring

    Via the CRM Middleware Monitoring Cockpit

  • Data exchange

    • Checking the cross-component data integrity

    • Displaying data transfer objects

    • Monitoring data requests

  • Message flow

    Monitors the message flow within CRM Middleware.

  • Mobile client communication

    Monitors data exchange between a mobile client and the CRM server.

  • Queues

    Monitors the various queues within CRM Middleware

  • Performance

    SAP performance analysis tools and alert monitoring
