Configuring the Collaboration Task
Engine
Here you can make some general settings for the collaboration task engine. Some of the settings have impact on the graphical use interface of the collaboration task wizard.
1. Choose System Administration ® System Configuration ® Universal Worklist & Workflow ® Workflow ® Engine ® Engine.
2. Choose Edit and set the miscellaneous properties used by the collaboration task engine.
The properties are explained in the following table:

Business Workflow Integration Enabled * |
Enables a closer integration between business workflow and collaboration task. If you start a collaboration task (sub process) from the business workflow item, at the end of the collaboration task all the attachments from this sub process are uploaded to the parent item. You can see the complete history including that of the collaboration task from the business workflow item (parent item). |
Date Format Display * |
Displays the different date formats. Select from the available options. |
Enable Link to Business Object * |
On the sub process task wizard, an option – Display Link to Business Object, is visible upon turning on this property. Default: True (implies also that the link to the business object is displayed in the item detail area) For related

Event Sender * |
Displays the options of sending an event (for example, creating a task or sending a notification on the due date is an event). ● Direct – Use workflow to send the event
We recommend to use this option to send an event. ● Web Service – Use the Web Service, based on SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol), to send the event ● JMS – Use Java Messaging Service to send the event |
Nominee Group Creation Option

You can choose whether a user group is created or not and whether a CLP contact set is created or not. The following options are provided: · Not set (it is not a mandatory setting)) · Do not Create a User Group nor add the group to CLP Contact Set · Create a User Group · Create a CLP Contact Set · Create a User Group and add the group to CLP Contact set |
Notification Service * |
Choose from Knowledge Management notification or Java Mail. The value for Knowledge Management notification is CM Notification. |
Notify Assignees On Task Creation * |
When set to True and when in the collaboration task wizard Notify On Updates, Completion, and if Overdue is selected, task assignees are notified that a task has been created for them. More information:

UWL Push * |
Task is sent to UWL as soon as it is created. Default: True If set to False, manual refresh would be required to view the newly created tasks on the UWL view. For more information, see Enabling Delta Pull Mechanism. |
Notification URL |
Server name and port on which portal is installed on. From the notification a link is provided from which the collaboration task is invoked from. |
