Initiation of a Compare Run
The DIMa performs a header and a detail compare run. Selecting Start Compare on Wizard Completion
in the DIMa Instance Wizard will start a compare run automatically; otherwise, you have to start the compare run manually.
You have created a DIMa instance.
Performs a compare run in manual mode or as a scheduled background job where the compare run will be started at the date and time you specify.
Displays status of the compare run in the status table. The status table contains the following information:
Status of the header or detail compare
Red: Waiting
Yellow: Running
Green: Done
Name: DIMa instance name
Block Number: Number of blocks already handled during header or detail compare
RFC-Destination: RFC destination of the ERPback-end system. NONE for CDB
Displays the results in detail when you double click on a row of the DIMa status table. The results table contains the following information:
CDB or ERP Table Name/Field Name/Field Value
Specification of the entry in the CDB/ERP database
The table name consists of the header table of the object.
The field name can be one field of the table or a combination of several fields.
CRM Table Name/Field Name/Field Value
Specification of the entry in the CRM database
The table name consists of the header table of the object.
The field name can be a field of the table or a combination of several fields.
Compared
X: Detail compare performed.
Empty: Detail compare not yet performed.
Equal
X: Entries exist in both databases, have been compared in detail, and are equal.
Empty: Entries exist in both databases, have been compared in detail, and are not equal, or the entries have not been compared in detail.
To start a header compare run:
Choose or choose Start Compare
in the context menu of the DIMa instance.
To start a detail compare run:
Choose or choose Start Detail Compare
in the context menu of the DIMa instance.
To schedule a compare run as a background job:
Choose the Background Help Job
pushbutton to get further information on scheduling a compare run as a background job.
