Creating Provider Orders for Locking- and Unlocking Services
If your customer wants to block a service in order to prevent potential misuse of it at their own cost, such as if they lose their cell phone or are going on holiday, you can set a lock.
You can also unlock the service and enable it again if the customer wants this service to be available again.
You make the settings for this function in SAP CRM Customizing, by choosing .
You can lock and unlock contract items in the provider contract, using change processes. These change processes represent services. You can distinguish between them using lock statuses (see prerequisites).
You can invoice your customers for the costs connected with locking and unlocking. These locking- and unlocking services are determined using the lock reason and the contract item. Provider orders with appropriate order items and prices are automatically created for the individual services.
