Procedure documentation Define Schedule Exceptions Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

Schedule exceptions can occur when a schedule calculation or manual edits to a schedule violate employee work rules or break rules. The system flags schedule exceptions on both the daily schedule and weekly schedule. While managers can choose to ignore schedule exceptions, correcting them might improve the schedule quality.

The system has over 40 schedule and break rule exceptions. You use this procedure to define which schedule and break rule exceptions you want to be displayed to managers within your implementation. The system will only display the exceptions that you enable through this procedure.
