Use

Use this procedure to assign parameter settings to locations using site maintenance. You must assign one of each parameter group to an organization unit in order to activate the location, making it available for schedule processing.

Prerequisites

You have defined the individual settings your organization will utilize for your implementation of WFM. You can access them either through SAP Solution Manager or through the SAP IMG following the path: SAP IMG ® Retail Workforce Management and then selecting the group and each individual activity.

Using site maintenance, you have:

·        Added the stores or locations to WFM for scheduling.

·        Organized individual parameter settings into parameter groups.

Features

Within site maintenance, the status indicates whether the location has been activated, that is, had parameter groups assigned:

·        Green status – the location has been activated.

·        Red status – the location has not been activated.

Procedure

...

       1.      Access site maintenance by choosing the path SAP IMG ® Retail  Workforce Management ® Site Maintenance

You see the initial screen for the site maintenance.

       2.      Display the profile types at the at the Profile Type field.

       3.      Choose Organizational Unit from the list.

       4.      Choose Search.

During a standard search, you can enter the complete name or enter partial names along with the wild card character * (asterisk) to return a list of choices.

You can choose Advanced Search to enter more search criteria for finding a particular organizational unit. If you have created customized query categories, you can include them in your advanced search. Query categories help you categorize your location's organizational units.

You see the result of the search in a tree view displaying all locations that have been created for this implementation.

       5.      Choose the location by either double-clicking on the location in the list or highlighting the entry, displaying the secondary mouse button menu and choosing View Configuration Detail.

When you choose an organizational unit, the system displays the parameter groups assigned to the location in both list and tab format. There is one tab for each parameter group.

¡        Expand the parameter groups beneath the location within the tree structure to display the individual parameters within the group. Open the individual parameters to maintain the settings.

¡        Choose a tab and use the Available Parameter Groups and Assigned Parameter Groups lists to change the parameter groups associated with the organizational unit.

       6.      Choose Display <–> Change.

       7.      Choose the parameter group from either list that you want to add to or remove from the settings for the location. Use the Add and Remove arrows to move settings to and from the location.

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text

When you add a parameter group to the location, the system moves the parameter group from the Available Parameter Groups list to the Assigned Parameter Groups list for the location and changes the parameter group Start Date to the current date.

Each organizational unit must contain one and only one selection in each parameter groups.

       8.      Save your entries.
