Transfer Planning Objects to Production Clients

If you want to implement the SAP BI-BPS Business Content that is delivered specifically for the SAP Trade Promotion Management Business Scenario, you must first transfer the relevant planning objects for the Trade Promotion Management planning application to the production clients

Business Content for Trade Promotion Management

You can use the SAP BI-BPS Business Content for different purposes within the Business Scenario.

Key Figure Planning

Key figure planning in SAP CRM Marketing is closely integrated with SAP BI-BPS: Under Trade Spends/Volumes, you can plan your trade promotions in detail using enhanced planning layouts for SAP BI-BPS.

Traffic Lights

In SAP CRM Marketing  you can display the status of a planned trade promotion using red, amber or green traffic light icons. To do this, you can use the predefined alerts in SAP BI-BPS.  You can also modify existing alerts or define your own.

Baseline Sales Quantity

If you plan the uplift quantity for a trade promotion in key figure planning, you need the baseline sales quantity as a planning basis. You can use SAP BI-BPS to obtain this data from SAP SCM, and display it in an enhanced planning layout that is embedded in SAP CRM Marketing.

Demand Planning and Supply Network Planning

If you want to use SAP SCM Demand Planning and Supply Network Planning, you must transfer the planned uplift quantities from SAP CRM to SAP SCM. To do this, you can use the following standard content in SAP BI-BPS:

      Planning Profile CP: Promotion Planning (APO Selection) (4TPM0006)

       Planning Level Account Manager – Promotions (APO Selection) (4TPM9610)

      Planning Profile CP: Promotion Free Goods (APO Selection) (4TPM0007)

       Planning Level Acc. Mgr. – Free Goods (APO Selection) (4TPM9620)
