FunctionCustomizing for the Enhanced Rebate

 

For the enhanced rebate function in trade promotions, you need to make basic Customizing settings in SAP ECC. These settings are described below.

Activities

Along with the requirements described in Enhanced Rebate Agreements (for example, rebate relevancy of payer, sales organization and document type), you need to make the following Customizing settings:

  1. In Customizing, activate the sales info structures S469 and S136.

  2. Select the enhanced rebate functions for the desired agreement type in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management, by choosing   Billing   Rebate Processing   Enhanced Rebate Processing   Additional Fields for Enhanced Rebate.  

    In so doing, you can select either the user-specific settlement (with VAKEY), the indirect sales (Indirect), or both.

  3. Define the fields with which the user-specific settlement should be carried out in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management, by choosing   Sales   Billing   Rebate Processing   Enhanced Rebate Processing   Set Up Variable Key for Rebate Settlement  .

    For each agreement type, maintain the composition of the variable key for rebate processing, as well as the assignment of the values to corresponding fields in the credit memo. When you update the rebate info structure S469, the values specified here are transferred from the communications structures to the variable key in the order specified by the numerator.

  4. You have to define a separate info structure in Customizing for indirect sales for Customer Relationship Management, by choosing   Sales   Billing   Rebate Processing   Enhanced Rebate Processing   Enhanced Rebate Processing for Indirect Sales  .

    At the least, this structure should contain the following fields: sold-to party, goods recipient, product/material, quantity, unit of measure, amount, currency, delivering plant. In addition, the APPEND BON_ENH_S1 must be attached to the structure.

  5. Define the item category to be used to generate the indirect sales from the info structure in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management, by choosing   Sales   Billing   Rebate Processing   Enhanced Rebate Processing   Enhanced Rebate Processing for Indirect Sales   Settings for Creating Indirect Billing Documents  .

  6. Define in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management, by choosing   Billing   Rebate Processing   Enhanced Rebate Processing   Enhanced Rebate Processing for Indirect Sales   Settings for Creating Indirect Billing Documents   which:

    • Info structure should be used to generate the indirect sales

    • Fields contain which information (for example, in which field the sold-to party is saved)

    • Version number is intended for the planning data
