Customizing for Condition Generation
These Customizing settings determine for which usages, condition types, and condition tables the system creates condition records when generating conditions.
Make the following settings in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management only:
Maintain a condition maintenance group in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management under .
Include the condition types and condition tables that you use for condition generation in the condition maintenance group.
Assign the condition maintenance group in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management under .
Note
If you want to generate rebate conditions, set automatic determination of the rebate type in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management under .
The condition types and condition tables for the rebate conditions must be contained in the condition type group that is assigned to the rebate type. Make the Customizing settings for the rebate types and condition type groups for rebate conditions. For more information about generating rebate conditions, see Rebates in a Trade Promotion.
Define a condition generation type in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management under .
Assign the condition generation type, campaign types, and sales areas in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management under .
When conditions are generated, the system determines the condition generation type for the promotion type and sales area. The system uses this condition generation type to analyze the Customizing for condition generation. Ensure that the required campaign types and sales areas are defined.
Enter the desired combinations of spend type, spend category, spend method, and discount method, and assign a pricing condition type to each combination. You do this in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management under .
Conditions relevant to pricing are conditions with usages price determination (PR), rebate (BO), or free goods (FG).
Maintain the condition type for campaign determination conditions in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management under .
Campaign determination conditions are conditions with usage campaign determination (CD).
Define the condition tables for each condition type (price and campaign determination) that the system uses for generating conditions in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management under .
The condition tables must be contained in the access sequence for the condition type.
The condition tables for conditions relevant to price determination must contain the field Campaign.
You can specify different condition tables for different specifications of the planning account and for different product levels. When the planning account is a target group, the data in this Customizing table is accessed in the following way:
Trade promotions, where the assigned planning profile group specifies planning:
At account level, read the table entry where the account type is Account
At the account hierarchy node level, read the table entry where the account type is Hierarchy Node
Without an account level, read the table entry where the account type is Target Group

Define condition types and condition tables that the system uses to display values from condition records in key figure planning in the Planning assignment block. You do this in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management under .
You can assign a condition type and a condition table to a key figure from key figure planning. If you make Customizing settings here, the system determines the condition records and displays the condition amount in the Planning assignment block.
Example
You want to display the normal price (list price) in key figure planning. In the system, the list price is a condition record for condition type 0PR0 and condition table SAP004. You have defined a key figure 0PRICE_BUOM for the list price in key figure planning.
