Components for Campaign Processing in the CIC 

Use

You can integrate functions that allow campaign-supported order entry in the SAP Media Customer Interaction Center as part of campaign management.

Prerequisites

The components you can implement in the Customer Interaction Center for campaign-supported order entry include the following:

●      Business partner search

Application for searching for, displaying, and editing business partner data.

●      Data environment

Application used to search for, display, and edit business objects for a business partner, for example, campaigns to which the business partner is assigned, but also campaigns independent of a business partner.

You can create orders with reference to a campaign from the list of campaigns determined. In Media Sales and Distribution, this is done using the dialog method CreateFromOfferWithDialog for the business object BUS2107001, and in Advertising Management using the dialog method CreateWithCampaign for the business object BUSISM008.

●      Component Access of BSP Applications

Application for accessing BSP applications from a tab page in the application area.

●      BSP application Selection of a Marketing Campaign

Application for searching for campaigns and displaying them. You can create orders with reference to the selected campaign from the list of campaigns determined.

The BSP application Creation of Orders from an Offer is used for this purpose in Media Sales and Distribution. In Advertising Management, the dialog method CreateWithCampaign for the business object BUSISM008 is used.

●      Action box

Application used to integrate Media-specific functions; for example, creating or changing Advertising Management or Media Sales and Distribution orders, creating and changing contracts, or changing and reversing billing documents.

To integrate the Media-specific processing functions in the action box, you use the BOR methods of the corresponding business objects in SAP Media.

Once you have integrated the components in the Customer Interaction Center and made all the Customizing settings that are necessary for campaign management, Media-specific functions for campaign-supported order entry are available in the Customer Interaction Center.
