Fund Posting
Fund postings capture all value changes related to funds in funds management, such as:
Changes to budgets
Planned and reserved values
Prepayment and accrual balances
Expensed and settled amounts
Fund postings produce a line item-based audit trail of financial transactions relating to funds.
Brand owners can use fund postings to monitor the value changes in their funds. The system creates fund postings; you cannot create them manually.
A fund posting has a header that identifies the details of the posting, such as Posting Transaction, Funds Plan ID, Reference ID, and Posting Period.
Fund posting line items identify the actual value change to the fund by displaying information such as Fund ID, Value Category, Amount and Currency of the transaction.
You can click on the available hyperlinks to view the details of the particular Fund ID, Funds Plan ID, and Reference ID.
If a business transaction related to a fund is permitted, the system creates a fund posting.
Fund postings are created by any of the transactions that cause a value change to a specific fund, such as a budget update or fund usage.
