XML Export 

Use

This function enables you to export product catalogs in XML from the SAP CRM system to business partners file systems via SAP NetWeaver Exchange Infrastructure (SAP XI).

You can choose to:

●     Execute a complete initial export of your product catalog

●     Execute an export of product catalog changes

●     Execute the XML export in the background, or schedule it as a periodic batch job

●     Execute a full export of your product catalog, after initial export has taken place

●     Export multimedia objects with the product catalog, or only export the product catalog texts

You can choose between the Bme XML format and Ecx XML format.

Prerequisites

●     You have installed and configured the SAP NetWeaver Exchange Infrastructure, and configured it to work with your CRM E-Commerce application, your SAP CRM system, and your file system. For more information on configuring the applications with CRM E-Commerce, see the configuration documentation for the product catalog in SAP Solution Manager.

●     You have created product catalog variants with the corresponding catalog areas, and assigned products.

●     You have created catalog views, if applicable.

●     You have created business partners.

●     You have created an export profile for your business partner.

Activities

You can carry out the XML export directly in your SAP CRM system (in the SAP Easy Access Menu choose Master Data ® Product Catalog ® XML Export) or in your CRM E-Commerce Web-based Catalog Management application.
