Use

You can use this screen to view more detailed information about a specific collection.

Prerequisites

You are in the Archive Administration: Initial Screen (transaction SARA). You have entered the name of the XML archiving object in the Object Name field. Archived data is available for display in archive management.

Procedure

       1.      Choose Management.

The screen Archive Management: Overview of Archiving Sessions appears.

       2.      Within the appropriate status expand all nodes down to the collection you wish to view and position the cursor on the collection.

Note

Collections can contain collections. The hierarchy displayed in Management is composed of at least the home path, under which the collections are created. These collections in turn contain your archiving sessions.  Generally the home path is made up of different collections, which usually adhere to the following naming convention: /<SYSID>/<CLIENT>/<OBJECT>/, where OBJECT is your archiving object.

       3.      Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Detail (F2) or call the detail screen by double clicking the collection.

Result

You have called the detail screen of your chosen collection. The physical path of the collection shows where the collection is located physically in your file system. When a collection is frozen, it means that you can no longer create a resource or sub collection in this collection. The collection type shows whether the collection is an application, home or system collection.

Note

When an archive store has been assigned to a home collection or an application collection, this archive store is displayed in the detail screen. If no archive store is displayed, neither the collection nor one of its parent collections has been assigned to an archive store.

For more information about assigning archive store and collections, see the Synchronization of Home Paths section in the document Basis Customizing: XML Archiving.
