Use

B2B for Occasional Users is the Business-to-Consumer (B2C) Web shop scenario of CRM E-Commerce integrated with a Business-to-Business (B2B) user structure. In this way, a business partner is maintained in the Contact person role, for which relationships to sold-to parties are defined.

As a B2B Web shop operator, you should use B2B for Occasional Users if you require an CRM E-Commerce B2B scenario with the following features:

·        Easy-to-use due o a simplified user interface (as in B2C)

·        Low complexity through use of B2C functions

·        Simultaneous or dual use of B2B and B2C shops

As a B2C Web shop operator, you should use B2B for Occasional Usersif you require a CRM E-Commerce B2C scenario with the following features:

·        Use of the business partner in the Contact person role

·        Simultaneous or dual use of B2B and B2C shops

·        Easy user upgrade for the B2B shop.

Features

The B2B for Occasional Users scenario incorporates a B2C Web shop with B2B User Management functionality. In other words, the users are maintained as they would by for a B2B Web shop, but the shop itself is a B2C Web shop.

The following special features apply for this scenario:

·        The Internet logs on with his user, and not with his e-mail address as in B2C Internet Sales.

·        Self-registration is not possible.

·        Internet user data cannot be changed in B2C Internet Sales.

·        B2C Internet Sales can only be used by B2B Internet users.
