Use

You can use this toolbar to view and maintain the objects in the search result.

Integration

The search result is displayed in a list or form below the search itself. The search result toolbar is located directly above this list or form.

Prerequisites

You have performed a search or an advanced search.

Search Result Toolbar – Standard Features

 

Feature

Explanation

Toggle  icon

Switches between the list view and form view.

Create button

Creates a new data record.

Save button

Saves any changes you have made to your data records.

Change button

Allows you to make changes to a data record. Locks the data record for other users while you are making your changes.

Expand icon

Expands the toolbar to show all of the functions possible for changing and maintaining the data records.

Button Up icon

Moves to the previous page in the list.

Button Down icon

Moves to the next page in the list.

Page n of n

Indicates which page of the list you are on (first number) and the total number of pages in the list (second number).

Filter On / Filter Off  button

If activated, the first line of the result list (under the column headers) consists of empty input fields, one for each column. Here you can enter filter criteria for the current result list. The filter criteria can consist of any character. Filter On / Filter Off activates or hides the empty line.

Personalize link

You can personalize the columns in the list view by changing the settings of the list.

Provides online help information regarding the current application. For more information, see Calling Help.

Not all of the features mentioned in the table above are always available.

The toolbar is flexible and therefore adapts to the particular application you are using, so only relevant buttons or functions are included in the toolbar.
