Change Replication of Product Catalog Contents 

Use

Use this function to replicate modified data of a particular product catalog to the index server, or to publish modified documents on to the Web server. In this way, the data is consistent in both the product catalog and the Web catalog.

Execute initial replication again if you make changes in the Customizing settings.

Prerequisites

You have done an initial replication of product catalog contents.

Features

You can select the individual catalog, for which you want to replicate the changes.

Changes are noted in an internal table and subsequently evaluated and processed. Changes that were made to the products themselves are also taken into account by the system.

Activities

Start change replication in the user menu of Customer Relationship Management ® Master Data and Generic Services  ® Product Catalog ® Update Replication.

If the Web server is configured in such a way that logon is required, but you have not entered any logon data in Customizing, the system prompts you for logon data in a dialog window. In this case, it is not possible to carry out replication in the background.
