Use

You can use shortcuts to navigate through the application and perform basic functions. Shortcuts are key combinations that you can enter from your keyboard without the use of a mouse.

Becoming familiar with shortcuts allows you to perform tasks within the application quickly and efficiently.

Activities

Some key combinations perform functions that are specific for certain parts of the application, such as the navigation bar or menu. For more information on these location-specific shortcuts, see

The following table lists the general shortcuts that you can use in the application.

Saves business data

Creates a new business object

CTRL + D

Deletes a business object

CTRL + G

Cancels all changes

CTRL + R

Refreshes the data displayed

SHIFT + F5

Moves the cursor to the first business object in a list

SHIFT + F6

Moves the cursor to the previous business object in a list

SHIFT + F7

Moves the cursor to the next business object in a list

SHIFT + F8

Moves the cursor to the last business object in a list

F1

Shows context-sensitive help

F6

Navigates to the previous tile set in the application history

F7

Navigates to the next tile set in the application history

F11

Toggles the display to full-screen or normal mode

F12

Maximizes or restores the size of a list tile within a tile set

ALT + 1

Moves the focus from a tile set to the navigation bar

ALT + 2

Moves the focus from the navigation bar to a tile set

Application Key

Opens a context menu when you are in an application control or tile

 

Note

In the mobile client application you can also use standard Microsoft Windows shortcuts, such as

ALT + F4 – Closes a window

ALT + SPACE – Opens a standard context menu
