Profiles 
A profile is a semantic description of a target group in terms of the selection criteria used to create such a group.
All of the selection criteria within the profile must be met before a business partner matches the profile, that is, the attributes within the profile are linked together as "and" conditions.
Profiles are used in marketing to describe marketing objects like business partners or products. In the Segment Builder, profiles are modeled by combining selection criteria from different sources with a view to creating specific target groups for use in marketing activities such as campaigns.
In the Segment Builder, you can:
● Specify a planned number of business partners to match the profile.
● Use the count function to view the number of business partners matching the profile.
● Combine profiles together in one profile set (in which case the profiles are linked together as "or" conditions).
● Generate a target group for a profile.
