Definition

You create and modify workflows in the designer area. 

Use

Some of the controls available are explained in the following table:

Control

Description

Graph Layout

Changes the layout from horizontal to vertical.

Check

Checks the syntax of the workflow.

Activate

Activates the workflow. When the workflow is activated, it can be executed.

Hide Pane

Hides Navigation and Attributes.

Scale 1:1

Scales the graph back to its original size.

Fit to Screen

Resizes the entire graph so that it is visible within the editing pane.

To create a workflow, you can do any of the following:

·        Drag&drop the desired combination of elements and components between the Start and Stop symbols in the designer area.

·        Drag&Drop a template into the designer area and save it under a new name.

To maintain attributes, you can do any of the following:

·        Drag&drop the element or the component whose attributes you want to enter or modify into the designer area.

·        Choose an element or a component on the tab page Graph Objects.

To modify a workflow, you can do any of the following:

·        Drag&drop a workflow from My Workflows into the designer area.

·        Choose My Workflows and double-click on the workflow you want to modify .

Integration

The workflow will be saved in the SAP system inside the local package $TMP

Caution

Note that your workflows are client-independent (that is, a workflow template created in one client exists in all clients of the same system). Under My Workflows, you will only see the workflows that were created for the current logon client. In addition, workflow templates are client-independent.
