Definition

The attributes of all elements and components are created and displayed on the tab page. The tab page displays the respective workflow data that is visible in the designer area.

Use

You can create or modify the following attributes:

Event Trigger

Displays details of the event you assigned to the workflow to trigger it. The details are also displayed in the Start icon of the workflow.

Action Trigger

Displays details of the action you assigned to the workflow to trigger it.

Graph Objects

Displays a list of elements and components contained in the workflow.

Step Attributes

Displays the attributes of a single element or component. The element or component can either be selected in the editing pane or in the list under the Graph objects tab page. Element parameters are created and modified in the tab page. Each attribute is described in the following:

Displays the event you have assigned to the elements under Event trigger. Choose More to see additional selectable events.

False branch label

Condition

The name of a branch; False is given as a default, but the label can be modified.

To create a multiple condition:

       1.      Click Edit condition.

       2.      In the Selectable Objects dialog box, choose a variable from the top area.

       3.      Choose an operator from the list.

       4.      Click in the Value column under Condition and choose a value shown in the Possible Values box.

       5.      Choose a logic from the list and continue with step two to create more multiple conditions.

To open and close a condition, click This graphic is explained in the accompanying text and choose the corresponding parentheses.

Minimum of branches completed

Parallel

The number entered here is the minimum number of branches which must be completed for the workflow to continue. If not set, all branches have to be executed and completed before executing the next step.

Displays the object you have assigned to the elements on Event trigger. Choose More to see additional selectable events.

The name of the element. A default name is given for each element but you can rename it.

A selection box that contains all your workflows under My Workflows.

Container

List of all objects in the current workflow.

You can indicate whether import- and export variables are necessary for the workflow to continue at any point in time and whether import variables are mandatory.

Note

The import- and export variables will be used as input and output variables if you decide to publish the workflow and make it a component. For more information about how to create a component, see Components.

       1.      Choose More.

       2.      In the Create Variable dialog box, enter a name and choose a variable type. The following variable types are available:
