Use
This query enables the valuation of query runtimes.
The BEx queries examined are sorted in decreasing order according to the Runtime Category, meaning that the largest characteristic values appear at the top. In the columns, the key figures contained in the Times and Data Records (OLAP) (0BWTC_C10_S010) structure appear: Number of Navigations (0TCTNAVCTR), Average Total Time (OLAP) (rounded to 1,2,3,...10,20,30,...100,200,300... seconds), Total Time OLAP (0TCTTOLAPAL), as well as all key figures relating to OLAP times and records.
From there, you can quickly get a view of which queries have an especially high processing time for each navigation step and then further analyze these respectively.
An important target when working with the Business Information Warehouse is to keep the execution time for queries as low as possible. From a known time limit, a query appears to a user as no longer being suitable for online processing.
This limit is subjectively different. You can set a respective value (for example, 30 seconds) as a threshold value in the EXCEL worksheet and run only those queries whose average processing time per navigation step is larger than the selected threshold value.
