OLAP Usage per InfoCube

Use

This query enables the valuation of InfoCubes with regard to their usage (OLAP).

For each InfoCube, the key figures contained in the Times and Data Records (OLAP) (0BWTC_C10_S010) structure are shown: Number of Navigations (0TCTNAVCTR), Average Runtime (OLAP), Total Time OLAP (0TCTTOLAPAL), as well as all key figures regarding OLAP times and records.

·        The data is valid for a specific time period that you can determine in the variable screen using the Tech.Cont.: Time Period for which Data is Selected input variable .

If you choose a greater time period, you get significantly higher values for the older and frequently used InfoCubes than for a newly created InfoCube. For example, you can use the Total Time (OLAP) (0TCTTOLAPAL) and Total Number (OLAP) (0TCTNOLAPAL) key figures to get an overview of which InfoCubes are used frequently.

·        For each InfoCube you can compare the total runtime of all queries with the total number of data records transferred. If large amounts of time accumulate with an InfoCube even though only little data was transferred, you need to analyze such results again in which you, for example, view the composition of the times.

The OLAP Usage (0BWTC_C10_Q010) BW statistics query delivers the same key figures for the individual queries for each InfoCube.
